What would the collector prefer to have in his collection the Röhm or the Himmler with it's complete etching. Of ocurse many would not care as both are very rare daggers but when you would have the choice.
I for my self like the Röhm more in regards of the eara and the history.

My opinion is that the Rohm would be harder to find and more desirable. I never heard about ss men getting executed if their dagger had himmlers name on it? SSman

Are there any documented executions of SS men who did not have Rohm's name removed?

I agree with Tor-Helge. Both, but, ouch to the bank account.

Röhm - hands down Also the benefit of possibly having a serial # punched in

Rohm. A full Rohm had to remain hidden during the whole 3rd reich by a "disloyal" SS man. While many Himmler's were "liberated" from Eickhorn by the fistful mint in the bag by U.S. troops. -serge-

I have both as well...but the one I like the best is the Rohm...much better in my opinion. Mine is on pages 70-71 of Tom Whittmann's SS book. The ONLY SS DKiG winner that has had his dagger surface so far. Mark
