That's a nice looking SA buckle.
In the Jill Halcomb book on "The SA: A Historical Perspective", there are a few pictures of SA High Leaders buckles that are similiar in appearance to the round SS Officers buckles, except there is an SA logo superimposed on the eagle instead of a swastika. There is also an interesting round SA buckle that looks very muck like the fake SS prototypes with the right facing eagle clutching a swastika that were around with Walther stamped on the back.
Has anyone ever come across any of these SA Leader buckles? I don't beleive I've seen any here on this forum.
