Hi Paul

Why do you consider the large pip as a red flag?

Thanks Paul

Not much into generals boards at this point in time. The red stripes would indicate a WW1 board no? Red being Hessen IIRC.

I went to the "Marshals baton" http://www.themarshalsbaton.com/ and they show generals insignia with large pips. Is the style of pip a concern?

Pip appears to be a WWII EM pip to me.
