hello-i need some help.my expertise is daggers but i run an ad and buy everything.most of the tim i know if it is real becaues of how i got it.i know i am ripe for the set up.but so far ive done ok.today i got this helmet with some other stuff from a young guy that said he got the stuff from his uncle.anyway i got a bad feeling about this helmet.can you fellows look at it and give me your thoughts.thanks in advance paulzaya

well i feel stupid but it has been a long time since i got fleeced.a braggard like myself needs to be need to get knocked down once in a while,shows me how much i really know about helmets.lucky i only payed 200.00 for it.the guy was good and i was greedy and moved to fast.thank all of you for your help.paul zaya

I know nothing about helmets, but wouldn't that shell be worthg close to $200 or the whole lash-up worth more than $200 as a fake ?

similar "restored" or "reconditioned" helmets sell for from $495.00-575.00...so there is no need to cry into your beer...Prosit!...Roland

Re-worked helmets for reenactors will cost you more than $200.00. Moneywise you are OK and can probably sell it for that with no problem. The sting is in buying something that has been misrepresented. Hey, we've all been taken at some point.

mike...it would make a wonderful German Beerbong...with a few branches added you could not even tell that there were beersteins added...and the steins would cover up the decals anyhows...smile...ein Prosit der Gemütlichkeit...Roland.
