Roadblock! An early Kingtiger stands its ground at a road intersection somewhere along the south-central portion of the Eastern Front, late winter 1945. The loader has been busy tossing out spent shell casings to minimize smoke inside the vehicle as the Russians call-in an artillery barrage which up to now has only managed to damage nearby brick buildings.
This Tiger, like many at the end of their rope is lacking much of its equipment due to hits taken in prior engagements and lack of supply and repair. The hull also displays old zimmert and a worn out white wash job applied earlier in the winter.
This is the old Tamiya Kingtiger in 1/35th scale and went through numerous modifications to improve its appearance and level of detail.

Hey bud! I bet Tanya that youd be the first Tiger aficionado to respond. I think this is the project that cost me my eyesight. I think Tanya's going to post some pics of my late-war Jagdpanther and maybe the M-26 as well, stay tuned. Rick

John,
I got my Tiger unassembled here in Canada. After I assembled it, I had a guy in Florida paint it for me. Don't know who you are referring to in NJ.
