This item came with a blue bordered Alcoso (AWS)hang tag, what I call a 3rd variant tag.But thas really not the big find. The fellow who had the tag never even mentioned he had this shipping wrap paper. To my understanding some Alcoso bagged pieces(bayonets and daggers) have been seen with only the wax type of wrap paper but had no maker mark included. This wrap paper or "wax paper" has the later Alcoso tm with the AWS and Alcoso in script, I would guess that this is from after the family was purged from ownership. I wont go as far as saying this ends the discussion on the Alcoso factory tags or even the packing paper but this is one of those factory items that is quite rare. Figured I would post this here before I throw it up on my hang tag research pages. Bret Van Sant

The size is about the same as typing or printer paper.
