New acquisition, 40$...G. Weyersberg....I have seen plenty of the P. Weyersberg, but not this one.....so, tell me all I need to know guys. I'm not an expert by any means. What would be a correct frog and knot to add to this if I desired to do so? Thanks, Chris....

Nice bayonet, I presume the mark could be that of either Gebruder Weyersberg or Gottfried Weyersberg Shne.

The piece could be either Heer or Luftwaffe and as such could correctly sport a black (Heer) or brown (Luft) patent leather frog and your choice of a Heer/Luft knot.

Hi Chris,
Nice KS98. What is the marking to the right side of Weyersberg? I can't make it out from your picture. If it is some sort of mark, it might help narrow down your maker. It could be:
Gottfried Weyersberg Shne or Gustav Weyersberg or even Gebr. Weyersberg GmbH, Stahlwaren.

Hi Chris,
Billy nailed it!
If you're ever in the area, give me a call.
BTW, I made my first trip to Alaska last summer. It was the best vacation I've ever taken.
