I see this number 121171 listed in the "Key" as being in the 1937 and 1938 rank list. Could anyone furnish a name and whatever info is there please?

I found though another source the following:

I am not sure if he was with signals or war correspondent. If anyone has anything further, such as what division or group, etc. is involved, I would greatly appeciate your data.

Further info suggests signals group.

Would the ranklist info lead anyone to believe that he was with ss nachrichten battlion 9?

Other sources have furnished this info:

Nachrichtensturmbann.9 was based at Dresden/Reichenberg and was a component of SS-OA Elbe (based at Dresden)

So it appears he was an older (birthdate and WW1 combat awards) allgemeine ss guy that was a career signals officer.
