Some time ago I bought this dagger from a USAAF serviceman based in England.Advertised on EBay as a distributor marked dagger bought in the early 90s from Tom Wittmann. The only mark on the blade is "KLIHASO" the pommel is a type C and the crossguard resembles the Anton Wingen type used by Voos etc.All the hilt fittings are heavy silver plate over brass. The scabbard has a single retaining screw for the throat in the back side.
Several Internet searches lead to EBay auctions for"Vintage cut throat razor KLIHASO The Savoy"
but no indication of who KLIHASO might be so imagine my surprise when leafing through my Fischer reference under Klittermann and Moog it states"straight razors and razor blades KLIHASO The Savoy"
So KLIHASO is a maker not a distributor
Why KLIHASO obvious really
KLI from Klitterman,HA from Haan the district in Soligen where Klittermann was based and SO from Solingen
Question is this a new maker previously unknown for Heer daggers and does anybody else have one
I have a couple of photos of the dagger but cant work out how to post
One other point the white grip is the plaster core type

If that is Klittermann & moog (picture is so blurry I can not make out anything) a rare bird indeed. Would I want it for my collection? Yea if the price was right. It really isn’t turning my crank though –now if it was an early slant with the arm spear logo?
