Does anybody know if B H Mayer was a maker of these awards. The box says M1/170.

I think there were many makers. Mine was made by Juncker.

Thanks for the heads up Erich. After researching these on google I found a couple more boxed awards that had M1/170 so that maker must be legit?

You need not worry the medal and box along with the RZM # are originals. Best, Erich

Thanks Erich. I checked the ribbon loop and it has a 2 stamped on it so mine is also a junkers!SSman

On these, it is great to see the almost garish silver finish, the pointy ends to the rays, and the 'bursting' blue enamel..unmistakeable, my fave NSDAP cross, the 25 year i think pales in comparison..mine is unmarked, but there is quite a difference in the eagle..

True, that cobalt blue is incredible. Here's mine.

The "2" crosses all seem to have a little beard on the eagle.

Nice crosses guys. I heard that all original 25 year crosses have a 19 stamped on the loop! Is that correct?

I sold my 25 a while back, but it was unmarked..

There were at least several different makers of the 25 also, judging by the small differences between them.
