Asside from some artistic differences (lines and such) the first one has the company name on top and the location on the bottom. Where as the second makers mark has the company name on the left and the location on the right!!!

Johnny,
Fishers shows only the first pattern you show, two pictures sightly different, but no sign of your second offering.Very interseting.
Perhaps you should reconsider selling and keep the two!
Regards,Ivan.

I was wondering when someone else would pick up on the Bickel dual trademarks. Roll Eyes

Me too Big Grin. The second one shown is slightly smaller.

Well I am glad I am not theonly one who has seen this.
Can I go with my gut and assume that the second (smaller) mark pictured is the rarer and earlier version of the trademark?
Thanks for the input guys!
Johnny

I suspect the second mark is the earlier version, it certainly is rarer. Have only seen a few.

And here is the grip. The interesting thing is that Bickel lacquered their grips and this one got a few raindrops on it at somepoint. Without being cleaned off the water soaked in and left these spots... pertty cool in the end actually:

Beautiful piece: As far as I'm concerned the Steinbach makers are in a class by themselves.
