from what i cans see of the tunic,it looks ok,,,the breast eagle is of officer quality but i wouldnt expect to see this on an oberfeldwebel tunic,,,all things possible i guess, but this is the thing so far that disturbs me most

I am far from an expert, but the yellow trim on the collar looks kinda thick, I am still learning, so please don't put much stock in what I say. I am just asking to see if the more knowledgable will chime in.

First off if you are getting a bad feeling then that's a sign to step away. I personally don't like the texture or color of the jacket and with the reapplied black wool backed Officers eagle, well it looks suspicious to me. All I'm saying is beaware and feel confident in your purchase. Just me 2 cents worth. Good Luck.

from the images provided...this is not a LUFT NCO tunic..the eagle "might" be period but the tunic appears made up to deceive or fill a void in a collection...cheers, Ryan your money is better spent elsewhere...if you are looking I have a near mint example that has not been buggered with in any way...

Not in regards to this tunic, but you will see some very thick examples of collar piping on pre war Luftwaffe tunics..it is not uncommon..

Messed with West German Air Force tunic. Dont walk... run. The insignia MAY be original, but the tunic is 1960's
