Started collecting Russian militaria from the Afghan war to the present for a little while now. Uniforms, hats, berets, patchs. I find it a fun hobby that doesnt break the bank.

I have picked up a few Soviet things over the years that I thought were interesting. Everything was dirt cheap when the evil empire fell but prices are rising and they are faking stuff so it must be collectable.
My interest is in police related items. For instance, here is a nice police uniform with an badge.

"doesnt break the bank"! Totally agree with that thought. Years back, there was an outfit in Ohio, "BW Trading Company" that had zillions of Soviet items and on the cheap too. I bought a few hundred patches and sold them through the Shotgun News. Lloyd
