I have posted a frog in the accoutrements section for identification. Not much response there. I should have maybe posted it here, I hope there is no problem with a double post. I would really appreciate any help with identifying this. Wolfgang

It would fit something not much larger than a dress bayonet. The marks on the back are: AAZ 12 and in a separate location 11.II.3.
