A fellow collector from Austria is seeking more information on the following knife from the USSR, which he has recently acquired for his collection. Apparently this type of knife was used by parachutists and navy divers. Can you help?

Im not an expert in knives other blades also but it is very similar like polish paratropers knifes for cutting the ropes,it is called rescue dagger .The similar shape of the blade , these knives was produced in 1950-1960 years ,when I will find pics I wil try to post some.Regards Ted
