I know that with all fakes around and the current prizes on FJ helmets. There is almost no way of getting one without selling the house and live in a tent.

Besides when having an Fj helmet in the display case worth an smaller fortune and not having private securety guards is just foolish. When the single helmet is worth more than the entire collectin of other items.

So, here is my question. If there so many fakes out there. Where to buy one? Not to the price of an real. But buing an good fake, knowing its an fake. But still an good display item. (yes I would like one for the IC's and FJ items. I currently dont got an display case, but wery soon I will get me an place to show the gems.

Strange question perhaps even on the wrong forum I know. But I have thought of this a long time now.

Best regards
/Thomas

@ Marc

Yes I culd do that. But lots of the peopel that sells fakes lurks around there too. Since my aim is to locate an good display copy and not an "original" copy, I dont want to do the mistake for buying an genuine, that turns out tobe an cheep copy.

After all, the information among the members here are sublime as reference... But as I mentiond earlier. This is perhaps the wrong forum...
