Hello All, I've had this visor for years. It is missing the chinstrap. Is there any way to tell if this is an officer's cap or enlisted man. I believe the lining is silk and it is embossed under the sweatshield Erel, Sonderclasse, Privat. Thanks in advance, Leipzig

I'd say it is for an officer but, I have seen a few enlisted caps that were private purchase higher quality caps than the issued caps.
