Interesting but ROUGH Visor with "bring home box" - 11/09/2010 06:58 AM
I recently picked up this grouping of a rough Visor, HUGE flag 12 ft, two US dogtags of the vet that brought them back.
I hate to think to break it up but I think the hat can not be saved.. bummer.
Great to have the box name match the name the vet wrote in the hat and the box.
I think the Moths had a HUGE dinner over the last 60+ years..
If anyone has a database on this CPL Johnson love to have some more info on him since one pic has is service number.
** the box even had some old newpapers from IOWA in it.
Neat grouping too bad there wasnt a dagger or helmet in there that the moths would have left alone.!!
