Hey Guys,

Could anybody PLEASE help out here Confused I`ve been offered this one at a real good price, maybe too good!! Roll Eyes

The wrap is made from the so called "ersatz" material in the feld grau colour. No insignia other than the officers collar tabs. One can quite clearly see though, where the breast eagle was attached, as there is still some cotton twill remaining. Also, there appears to have been a cufftitle of some sorts on the left arm. The shoulder boards were at some stage changed from the sewn in type, to the slip on type. Buttons are all the plastic type, including the cuff buttons. It has artificial silk lining and ther are two pockets on the interior. Also has adjustment strings around the waist as can been seen in the pics.
Absolutely NO markings what so ever, that I can find?
I have plenty of pics available, as the wrap is in my possesion, so if anybody needs any more detailed pics, please email me.
I really appreciate any info or comments Wink
Many thanks in advance.

2 things that i dont like about the above wrapper,,,the material looks like swiss army surplus and where a cuff band may have been, there is almost no difference in color of the material,,i would think that with a piece of insignia on,then removed,,the underlying material would be darker and the surrounding are lighter due to fading and wear,,,my opinions,,how about some others?...Robert

There are many things not to like with this garment.

Cut, construction, type and quality of material, sewing patter, collar...

It may even be a post war Scandinavian item..
