Is it a rare varient? I can't find any for sale on Ebay, or anywhere for that sake! Confused
Any guess as to collector value?

i would say more scarce than rare,,i would put value 185 to 275,,depending on condition and manufacture of the bayonet...

I agree. Only time they're scarce is when they're in mint, flexible condition. Rare when you find them with clear navy ink stamps on reverse. They can be found with at least four types of bayonets in them that are accepted as "correct". Most commonly they're found with unmarked navy special bayonets. These have a second sharpened area on top of tip. Rarest bayonet is the ****nal marked navy special bayonet. Same as fore mentioned but marked on blade with "Rocking Star" a star on top of an anchor symbol.
