It is with heavy heart and great sadness that I let you all know that longtime member here Andy 'Militarynut' Legere has passed on this morning.
His suffering is over and he has joined his beloved wife..

I know Andy since the 1970s. But the last 20 years we've gotten very close.. More family than friend... Although a tough guy, opinionated, hard core collector, in reality a gentle and loving soul..
A consummate relic/antique collector.. A fine man...

I will miss you brother,, Rest in peace...........

Man - i have been away from the hobby for a bit and come back in to see this. Andy was truly a great guy who always took the time to help out people like myself when we were starting out. RIP big guy...

Andy was loyal and helpful to everyone. He never compromised his beliefs. He was helpful to a fault and he was dependable. It was a joy and pleasure to stop by yearly at the Max and SOS to chat and catchup. The forum has lost a true FREIND Ryan
