Here is a nice Frankenstein ! A E pack Grip & pommel with an Alcoso Blade !!! Notice the leather on the grip with the wire ... It is in great shape !!!

The owner has had it for a long long time





















I know that edge weapons factories swapped elements when facing shortage ... Could this one ever be period ?? ... i would love it to be but that isn't likely i know ... Anyway that is a great piece of work ...

Your opinions on that one ?

It was someones home project... As you said a Frankenstein but (not a period one.. )

it finally reached its new home ...

This is surprising ... THe wiring is perfect ... all is tight and nothing moves when you swing the sword ... can't figure out the leather though ... the color reminds of the Luft sword ... but the grain differs ... not sure it is real leather or ersatz ... Still a nice curiosity though ... Does anyone know the exact name or N° of the EPACK & SOHNE original pommel ?
