Here is a pretty nice J�ger piece I have been cleaning on for a few months. Gary might recognize this thing if he looks close. I believe it came from across the pond. The skinner is also red stag replacing the long lost one.

Mike I have always liked those jager blades and where did you get that nice replacement skinning blade? It sure looks like it matches the stag on the main blade.

Hubertus, Thanks, I have a stock of red stag which I furnish to a mastersmith to make those for me. He's starting to get really scarce to find when I need another one. He has a waiting list for larger more expensive pieces.

Yes I remember that piece, a super blade, these quill back J�ger units are a favourite of mine as well.
Thats a very nice skinning knife you have had made, I have a need of a couple these for the future, it certainly matches very nicely.

Very nice piece! Love the quill back,have never handled one in person. Really gives character to the piece. MAN if someone would just come out and sell these skinners in a few different sizes on this forum they could turn a very good buck!I need a few BAD! Kevin.
