I bought a few articles from the estate of a recently deceased WWII vet. Among the items was this unsual skewer type device surmounted with the figure of a boar. Does anyone recognize it as a piece of German hunting paraphernalia? The only marking is what looks like the word "GARANTIED" faintly stamped on the stem. Here are some pics.

Hello, imho nothing for hunt but any garden or flower basket decoration.

Or,for a keen member of the King Richard III Society. A white boar was a personal heraldic device of this English king, the last to fall in battle sword in hand.
