Japanese Type 30 - 09/22/2013 05:43 PM
Gentlemen,
Would appreciate your expertise regarding this Japanese bayonet. I've identified it as a first model Type 30 - Arisaka, in fairly good condition, marked with a Nagoya Arsenal stamp. It looks as though the wooden grip was used to hammer something at some point and has some resulting depressions. No rusted areas and the scabbard retains most of its blueing. I know these aren't a "high-dollar" item but I'd be curious to the fair market value of the one that's pictured.
Thanks and good collecting!
