Thoughts on this piece. I don't think its good but would like some other thoughts

Funny engraving, I do not see police stamp.
I saw a similar engraving on the fake SS bayonet.
Rivets are not Eickhorn.

Interesting bayonet. Just from what seems obvious, the scabbard is a replacement. Notice that it's throat is much wider than the blade which makes me think it's from a standard service police byaonet instead of made for this particular piece. As also stated previously, I don't like the rivets. The hilt looks to be a period honor bayonet hilt. Perhaps this piece was cobbled together from period pieces? Don't know about the blade but I have doubts it's period.
On second thought just with relation to the scabbard, I'm not so sure it's a replacement. I think what I initially saw was the darkened area near the center of oversized leather buffer.
