I added a pic of one of my bayos the other day on one of the other post, and it got me thinking -- let's see what some of you guys have for a scarce/rare trademark found in stag.

After documenting a lot of trademarks over the years, and seeing how many there were, I thought I'd stick with some of the scarcer type bayo trademarks. When I can find them in stag, all the better smile

I'll add two here. The rest of the ones I have are fairly common. The first one is Emil Voos, beautiful looking stag, excellent tone, and nicely fitted.

This is the one I posted the other day. TM is Klittermann & Moog. It's funny how each stag is unique, like a fingerprint. Hope you enjoy and would love to see some others.

Very nice.. stag grips add a whole new dimension to the looks of these blades.

I have only common makers, Eicks, Packs and WKCs, so nothing to show you guys.

Terry I see few there I would like to find.

Mike I love the WFP you have in stag, very nice and hard to find.

John, most of the others I have are common to. I have seen a few stag henckels in the past that I would like to add. I am on the look out for a Chistians and a full bird pioneer in stag if there is such a thing ?

thanks all for the pic's

I dig the WFP pieces too. The bakelite one now resides in a very nice & growing collection the Czech Republic.

I had only seen a stag WFP once before this one. Michael's makes 3. Interesting thing about these pieces, I believe they have 10 1/4" blades & are very early 3R production. Wish we could identify the mark.

Billy, Jan must be thrilled to have it smile

mine is the short style. And the few I have seen that have a buffer, it is always green felt. Mike's is leather a first for me.

2 shots of mine, check out the odd frog. I found it at a dallas show a number of years ago

Steve,

I dig that odd frog. Yours is the first I've seen in a short model, nice!

Here is a sawback short NCO style KS98 with stag grips. This one is by Anton Wingen. Notice the aluminum rivets on the nicely toned knobby stag horn grips. An early bayonet for sure.

Hi guys,

thanks for the pictures. It's great to see the piece that Billy posted that is now in my collection (thanks for that). I also have two staghorn pieces myself. Here's a preview:

Thanks, guys for all the wonderful photos. I'm sorry I haven't gotten back in a few days. I am playing catch-up at work due to the recent snow days in Texas. I only wish I had more of the rarer TMs to show of this style, but you guys keep on posting.

Thanks again,

Steve

Here´s my contribution. My only stag bayonet, by WKC. I think in nice condition. Came with brown frog.

Wotan:

Yeah, kinda nice.. sorta like Adolf was kinda eccentric.

Wow, that is one nice bayo.

Here is a Pack stag .. it, too, is kinda nice.

Better than "kinda" John!

Wow,

Wotan and John, those are some beauties indeed! A simple dress bayonet is one thing, but this tops it in my eyes.
