Hi All, can anybody tell me what kind of bayonet this is? Time frame of use, tassle. value etc. The blade is about 2 feet long and a quilback style made by WKC.
Thanks guys
Description: funky bayo
It looks like nice german SG1898 Mauser bayonet, probably a dress piece overall nicked, could be made origin in this way or from service piece, then it should be on spine near crossguard accepted with crown W or other letter and proofed with german script font letter and date of year. the frog looks goof, but the porteeppe is probably not correct, best regards,Andy
Lar,
I agree with Andy. Your knot is not a proper military Troddel, it appears to be a civilian curtain sash.
