The January edition of the Raleigh militaria show was Saturday and Sunday. More table were sold than usual and attendance was very good on Saturday. Sunday morning was a bit slow.
Dave
Victory Militaria was there.
A couple of Rorke's Drift (sp?) survivors from the 29th Regiment of Foot
Seldom seen rare variants
Otto Skorzeny's very own uniform and shoes
More of his goodies, too !
Good eats
And, something that seems beyond the abilities of the venue in Louisville, you get plastic covers for your drinks
Slow times at Victory Militaria
That's it. Pretty good for a regional show. Lots of other guys who I did not not photograph, too.
My purchase ? I found a particularly attractive box of popcorn. Slow start to 2009
Bravo! thanks Dave, great pix!
Looks like a great show. It's good to see firearms at a military show. Our local show at the LA County Fairgrounds in Pomona does not allow guns due to the ridiculous law that prohibits gun sales on LA County property. This is the same law that drove the Great Western Show from the fairgrounds to Texas. That pretty much put a stop to my WWI and TR military gun collecting and caused me to switch to blades.

Do you guys get to spend $10.00 for a beer too?
Really good pictures. I may have to try this show out next time.

Great photo's Dave.Looks like a well rounded show.You get a thumb's up for the start of '09
Dave, Thank you very much for the great display of photographs of the show. I cannot get out to go to the shows anymore and it was just a great feeling to go through all of your photos like I was walking down the isle checking everything out. I appreciate all the time involved to give us this tour.
Sincerely,
HUBERTUS
It is always a treat to see pictures of the shows, whether we attend them or not.
I just love to look to see what and whom I can spot.

Dave,
I love viewing pictures of these shows. Thanks.
Skorzeny's, who offers it? ...
Robert,
I do not remember the name of the dealer who had that on display.
Dave
