Well, here we are, 6:00 PM, my time in Missouri, and I have seen or heard nothing about December 7th, 1941. Not on the internet or any where else, what a shame.
This country has went to the dogs. We are soooo caught up in football and cell phones that we no longer remember Pearl Harbor, very sad.
It's pretty hard not to get political, but, I feel sometimes we must.
A day that will live in infamy, well maybe.

They had a celebration at Pearl Harbor today. It was live streamed on YouTube. The last one was in 2019, then the next two were canceled due to Covid. Not many WW2 Vets left.

That show's you where the USA is at today, Toronto TV, I saw nothing on TV in this area, or on the Net.
Yes, there are not many left, not many Vietnam vets left also. I would hope that the US Military did not forget.
We should honor them forever, and "Never Forget-Never Forgive"
But, that's just me.

Teaching the events of the past is everyone’s responsibility. What I know for sure is the remaining Holocaust survivors I have met, for example, at events where they bear witness to their experiences; many of them making these arduous trips at remarkably advanced ages and in poor health, do so because they believe with every fiber of their being that it is their duty to continue to educate and witness until their last breath. A woman who was originally from Hungary and was liberated from a camp in 1945 as a 15 year old girl told me last year that she believed that God had kept her alive those 90 plus years to do lectures in schools and community groups until she died, or until, and I quote “they will no longer have me. Then I am of no further use on this earth.”

I agree with Gas and Mike, we should never forget. Millions died for freedom, we should honor and remember them, not tear down everything they stood for because they offend a few weeny people in America.
I went in the Army because I remember my two uncles telling stories of them serving under Patton in WWII, and my best friend and I joined to help in Vietnam.
The more the world forgets, the more our safes full of memorabilia become just yard sale items or trash.
Yes, they are fading to time, but, I do not think it is a good thing, and I think Dave does also, I hope.

I'm an avoid fan of history and the lessons it teaches and I, too, was in the Army. In 'fading' I'm talking about the hate.
