Many of you may already know a B-17 and a P-63 were involved in a collision at the air show today, all on board were killed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of those lost in the tragedy.
The B-17 was one of only 5 still flying .

Yep, a sad day in WWII aviation. Way too many planes in the air at once in that small of air space, I know they were going for a great scene, but.
There are not enough of these Warbirds left to put them and there crews at that kind of risk, in my opinion.
Very sad at the loss of life.

My thoughts are with the families of those who perished. I will never understand why these planes of such rarity are routinely flown at airshows. In my opinion an accident in waiting....I do NOT undertsand it the tragedy of the loss of the aircraft is only over shadowed by the loss of life needlessly. I'm at a loss.........RIP
I agree,, take tours thru it,, touch it get your selfies with it.. but fly them?! I go by the old saying " sh*t happens"..........
