The Advanced search function on the site does not work. If you do a broad search, say "Spitzer" for example you get results from every section of the forum.
If you select the advanced search and just search a particular forum it always throws up zero results.

Having to trawl through every section of the results is a bind, is there anyway to fix it please?.

Using the advanced search, you can only search 1 year at a time. First defaults to "newer than 1 year". Clear that and use "older than 1 year", "older than 2 years", etc. Version 8 software will change that in a few months.

No problem, it drove me nuts the first time I used it. Took a couple of tries to figure it out
