you know 2 things I've always wanted but never had before.. And they're not nazi jewelry in any way! crazy wink

Ok,, I'd love to have a Police degen but with the SS cap and SS hangers. [hopefully there is such a thing..

and,,,,the Italian dagger above,,,either hanger would be fine....... I know this next question can be very hard but,,,,Approximately,, What would an Italian dagger like that go for??

Ilya

Thats a beauty!

Minty dagger and complete!

Gaspare

Condition is always the factor!

ON WAf about a week ago, I saw a dagger for 800.00 not as nice, it sold! Don't know what final price was! Hangers my quess 300.00
but its been awhile since I priced them!

Minty always bring more!

And I think they sell fast!

That gives you some idea! Both of these shown are real! So who knows!

Hangers not as nice!

I agree with Paul. Also, beware of the new reproductions. The ones above are all original.

Are they makeing reproductions now Jim?

Have you seen any! Are you talking the dagger or hangers!

Thanks Jim

The dagger has been reproduced and is very close. There have been reproductions of the hangers but not as good as the originals. One of the 1925 MVSN daggers just sold on Ebay for $800 + and it was either a reproduction or a 100% rebuild with new grips.

Here is a model 1925 that was listed as a reproduction and an aged one was sold as an original. I can not find any photos of the Model 35, but they were on Ebay as modern production pieces.

P., , Jim, these 1925 pieces,,,are they shorter than the daggers? What is the length end to end?
Posted By: Jim W Re: Italian daggers ww2! - 09/01/2021 05:21 PM
The dagger in the sheath is 13.5", (34cm), dagger is 12.5 inches. Made from old cut down bayonets. I believe this is the first "party" dagger.

Jim thanks.. Yeah love the blade, handle etc. IF it was a bit smaller I'd wear one on the side..13.5 on my belt won't get me anything here but a couple months wink

Cool looking thing though,,thanks again...........
