Hi gents, here are some pics of my latest purchase: 1937 Tank Corps Borowski dagger with dedication: "Panu Podpulkownikowi O'Brien de Laçy 17. III. 1937 B.B.Techn. Br.Panc."
According to the inscription this dagger belonged to Colonel Patryk O’Brien de Lacy who was the head of Technical Research Armored Arms Bureau (B.B.T. Br.Panc.) in Warsaw.
Full biography of O’Brien de Lacy can be found HERE

What a beautiful example. The blade is pristine.

Thanks Jim. Yes, the dagger is uncleaned and untouched. This is my first dagger that I was able to link to the person. Special thanks to Ted who helped me out with the purchase.

I hate to say this out loud, but I would clean the silver fittings under the guise that the uneven patina could do damage. That has got to be the best blade I have seen on a Polish dagger.

Plus the history of the person.

Thanks again Jim, I was thinking the same smile
