bought a few things from a fellow i know that wrecks old houses.this sword was in the lot. it looks to me like it is turkish-because of the marks etched on the blade.can any of you fellows tell me what it is and how old you think it is.thanks paul

Gut feeling is English 1680-1720 but will check reference books tonight for you

German 1720 to 1740 See Swords and Blades of the American Revolution by George Neumann Page 73 no 35S described as overall 30,5" blade24.i25"X1.375" and weight 1.5 pounds
