Well, since the hangers and the belt are very rare, I think 1000 USD for he complete set is not a bad price.
What bothers me is the dagger looks an officer version but the hangers and the belt is for an NCO dagger...

It is sign of the times in my humble opinion .Now it is hard to sell even a good dagger .From the other site people buy junks but still cheap ,cheap and cheap.Ted

I agree with the damage done to the Hungarian market by the reproductions. Although a lot of original non German daggers are reaching high prices.

The key in my opinion is originality, condition and rarity. It seems like every time I find one, I am outbid.

This dagger has all those qualities and perhaps just needs a different venue.

So far, so good, but I need photos of the reverse grip. in particular the blade locking mechanism.

Thank you Jim!
These are only pictures available. I will Ask seller to add more.

Jim is right, the locking mechanism is the most important part of the Hungarian AF daggers.
Thats why the seller doesn't want to show any photos of the reverse side of the dagger.

It is a reproduction officer dagger with a possibly original NCO hanger. I wouldn't buy it. Save your money for an original one.

in my humble opinion I do not like the handle ;-)

Thanks gents, I totally agree with you. Hangers looks good but the rest is questionable. Ive asked seller to add more pictures and he promised to do so. Well see how that goes.

Alex, if Janos and Zet think this thing is bad, take that to the bank.

Thanks Jim, I'm already on my way to the bank smile

Hi Alex,
thanks for the photos. I agree with Jim, the dagger is fake, don't buy it.
