Could you give us some more photos. We need the cross guard detail and a close up of the scabbard insignia. also, any markings on the blade?

Not a German sword but an Austro-Hungarian Civil Service sword. Worn by State Officials (Beamte) and not the military. There are several varieties with slight differences depending upon the official.

I think that would be full retail and probably a bit overpriced. Since it is not a military sword I see them sell for around $350. - $400.
