Gents, I wold like to hear your opinions on this M-1918 Austro-Hungarian Navy Dress Dagger. Double etched blade with Austrian "Double Headed Eagle" crest on obverse & Hungarian crest on reverse. Unfortunatelly it is not the top quality etching. Also marked K.U.K. "Tegethoff 1900" presumably for prior naval vessel. Scabbard is pebbled with Fouled Anchor & Image of Poseidon. Pictures below. Does anyone of you have this dagger?
I saw this at auction and do not like it.
Got it anyway. Hand inspection will tell me more. There is a couple of questionmarks - I agree but no definite "FAKE" indicator IMO.
On the other hand - lack of producer stamp makes me wander.
This also looks very good to me in a lot of ways, but I am concerned over the blade. The etch looks to be a deep etch and I do not like that.
The pommel looks correct, but there are other concerns.
Please let us know what you think when it is in hand.

I agree with Jim. I don't like it.

OK guys. Bad as hell. Hand inspection says everything. Nickel silver plating looks like it was done yesterday. Will try to return to the seller.
Michal,
bad news. I hope you will get your money back!
