Lion head rings were never my strong point, I am a skull man..

Can anybody give any advise on this example?, stamped 835.

Any pics of the inside?

there were usually 2 patterns that were confirmed WW2 German patterns.....

Lion rings have been around a long time and still being made.. Try a search here for the conformed 2 already known patterns...

This one you show has been seen before... Some of this pattern have the characteristics of WW2 produced pieces some don't...

- * OK, so on yours - Any band markings? content? etc. We would need better inside shots. Behinds head, inner band. Does it have a joining/sizing seam towards rear?
