Is that a legit piece in your opinion G?

Mike, I was given the group in the 70s.. I've been researching, checking it since then!

What I do know:
Rarely but the stamp .750 was used.
I did have it checked and it is lower grade silver,,.750.

It's got a nice finish. High polish inside and out., Thin band.. Worn condition but you can tell at one time the detail was very good.

About 15 years ago the actual period die for that SS button got sold with a load of nazi belt buckles and buckle tooling. Owner was from Netherlands. I knew the guy and asked him to bring to that next MAX. He did and I put the ring in it,,,a solid match, perfect..

I have not seen a advertisement for the design . Nor another example high quality or poor..

What I do have is,, Time!
What I'd like is to see another example.. And, get another shot of that die!.. I didn't have the camera equipment back then I have now.
The die has been sold a long time ago. I'm going to try and track it down.

Any one see that die for sale anywhere?!

Sure, GDC has editing problems : when I type more .......... I obtain few ??? not requested.......to say one.

About the ring, by the pics alone it appears very well made, smooth, well finished, ecc.??.all in all without having it in hands, I like it.

I'm sure more original are around and will pop up and probably repro as well.
