Ric,,, that IS a beauty! A very hard to find ring.... Someone here in the back pages there is a post and it shows mine and the Paratroop pattern also.. AND,,a period photo of one in wear!

It's definitively a lucky time for my ring collection, here's fallschirmjager pattern popped up few weeks later pilot ring.

Btw, the ring comes by Vet family so I have a chance to know former owner name and grade and I'm still waiting for it.

I have both,,the Para and the flyers. My Flyers has a broken wing but is also boxed.. I got it very inexpensive / almost a present from the late great John Pepera, RIP,,miss you buddy.. I love them both and glad your happy with yours!!
