Gentelmen I was asked to make a little research. Friend of mine found someone who owns an SS Honor ring. For now I do not have pictures (probably will be able to make pics on sunday this week). Anyway right now I know only name of the awarded officer and date. So name on the ring is WOOCK and date 21.06.43 (I know that I may write the date wrong way but I just want to know if this correct date is legit for SS Honor ring). I will post pictures ASAP.

Piotr
As I understand from reading Dons book- there were from 1940 (?) don't recall precisely...
Only 4 ring dates per year- and midsummers day- June 21 was in fact one of those 4 dates. My ring has a 21.6
Date. So yes, imho that's a good date.
Regards
Mike

No chance on this one, why is himmler on a different "plane" than the rest? Why has the seam been messed with?? Not even close I'm afraid

I don`t like the engraving and the "wearing" of this ring, but let`s wait some other opinions.

I agree with Odal 100 percent. The engraving is off kilter and very poorly done. The numerals are canted at odd angles (look at the number 2), and not in a smooth flowing line as Chris pointed out. It looks very primitive to me. The wear on it looks very artificial, and not in line with what I would expect. Looks like it was smoothed on a buffing wheel. Imho I would be very leery of this one.

Skull and "bones" really odd too

Look at the very first picture, and look how the knobs of the bones are worn down at an angle, Mike. To me, that is consistant with the design being ground down with a wheel.
