I've seen these before, they're usually pretty worn so those were surely some fine details on whom I presume to be the king of Serbia (sure as heck isn't franz Ferdinand!)... I would guess early ww1 and maybe even a non military ring just popular and well loved by those folks who wanted independence (common man, etc- tired of the empire, etc)... the only other thought I'd had about it was maybe it's older- Balkan war era pre-ww1 so it's prob king peter 1 in any case, i would guess military if pre ww1 peter was military commander and that time was very patriotic for Serbs in the years pre 1914, plus I believe he was old by ww1 and gave crown to his son, but don't quote me on that I can't recall exactly, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's like a patriotic Balkan war 1912 ring.
Hope that helps
