It's a nice looking ring- maybe an early sympathetic piece I would guess for a woman.

very nice period made 1930s style swaz ring you have shown here this one speaks to me great front design around the top sets this style right off . are you sure the black is not glass onex that is chipped off a little still a great looking period made swaz ring hold on to that one thanks for showing us guys here god bless merry christmas happy holidays andy militarynut

Can we see inside? In my opinion it looks like ring from 30ies with later added swastica and enamel. It definitely is not onix. It looks either cold enamel or put hot enamel.

I like the ring very much, maybe the swas, but i don`t like the black inside the plate around the swas
Maybe a bad repair of lost enamel?

the black around the swas does not photo very well, but with the ring in hand it is perfect

After tinking about this ring i am sure i have seen a fitting or very close period advert for this pattern, maybe i have it in my files.

Just saw my mistake - I meant it looks like cold enamel (like epoxy resin) or unproffesional hot enamel.

Swastica is larger than should be for this ring. It simply does not fit there. I think it is nice period ring modified later to match known designs.
