This ring does not belong to me but offered to help the owner to gather some information on the ring. These are the only two pictures I have and they are blurry. The ring does have a mark on the inside which she thinks is a silver mark. Im not a ring collector but looks to be a private purchase ring. Any info you guys can provide would be appreciated. The ring is reported to be from the estate of a WW2 vet.
this type of rings existed
but what about ur, I dont know vary bad shots
Good known pattern. This is the later/2nd pattern. 1st pattern has early, pirate type skull..
A rare and cool looking SS ring.. Should be black enamel, silver band.. IF, if that's good that's a really nice ring to have!!!
Thanks Gaspare I have a few better pictures to post later looks to me like black enamel as it shows some chipping . What's fair market value for this ring in this condition ?
Agree with g if that's the real deal ww2 collector it's not a cheap piece by any means. G will know value exactly but it's up there. Nice post thanks for sharing it with us I've only seen one in a photo.
Oh man I think that just might be a nice pp ss ring there ww2 collector I am drooling!
So guys what’s a ring like this go for?
1000-1500 depending maybe more if someone is really hungry!
Chris12559.,,, Welcome to the forum.!
Well , usually hate to give values. Too many variables at times..
But ,,this pattern will sometimes bring that kind of price.!
Thanks g.....i agree putting a value on an item is really tough to some people this ring is 500 tops to some rich guy price is no object if he wants it! Some items value is a personal connection (we have a tk that was from a member of our family for instance, no price could ever buy that!) I was trying to be general.
Thanks guys for the info. The ring is not for sale at this time the owner is keeping it for their collection !
