Well off for a few days to the MAX show.. Usually not the place to score a ring but sometimes I get lucky..
What will happen is I'll eat a bunch of bad food,,drink too much,,and see some buddies I haven't seen in a long time,,and that's the important one!!
O.K. guys find some nice rings for all us to see when I get back!!

Have a good time. Family and friends are really the only thing that matters in life. Take some pictures for us please. I know odal will always find great rings. He is the ultimate ring hunter!

But maybe a little missunderstanding. The "MAX" is thousends of miles away from my home and i think i never will visit it to hunt there rings
But for sure: I can´t await some pics from this show!

Dave took the photo after a 7 hr drive and then while joking,,'hey you ready for the show'..I said,,my wallets not big enough for you high rollers!
That's my buddy 'Tony' an advanced SS cloth collector for many years who has 'retired' from collecting and over the last 3 years has sold his minty mint collection of SS cloth.

There were 6 or so good private purchase rings there. I had them all...Sadly my Nikon went out with the tide waters :(, so no photos from me. But I saw Pvon taking some good ones. And, a friend picked up a really nice ring, cufflinks and tie bar. He'll need a day or so recovery but he promised he post them here for us to oogle!

That's a nice Ostfront ring. He is a lucky man.

He found some nice items and that site is one of my favorites of all time.

These Ostfront rings were discussed in Germany, does this one also have the Polish Silver Stamp on the outer ringband?

yes,,although this one is very worn..
I didn't like these rings for years. Then finally saw one from a German vet!
I have one too, the side embelishments are slightly different [they all are] and mine has the wartime Polish mark also..
