We have an old topic from 05 that will probably be gone soon. Trying this new technique to save it from going..
Also, please feel free to add on any cufflinks you have that are 3rd reich period from Axis and Allied alike!
*shortly it will be moved here, thanks, G.

And here are some advertized in DEN SVENSKE - newspaper of the Swedish SSS. They feature the Vasakarva - a Fasce-like symbol of the great Swedish king Vasa. Earlier, the cufflinks had Swastikas, as that was the symbol of the NSAP which in -38 moderated itself a bit. To the regret of many old members, I might add.
Nice seeing this post. It gives me hope there is a Vasakarva emblem ring!!!
Sveaborg, hope you don't mind but I have some images of cufflinks I'm getting rid of and will put on this topic....
1st, a set of KM.
2nd , Swas. and colors ,
3rd , Swas. in gold,,,,
will add more later..
Sveaborg , I moved your commemrative Vasakarve ring to the axis ring topic, a excellent ring also!!
The cufflinks shown here on this topic, they are from my file photos.
I don't think there was a pair that sold over $200 !

Hello forumfriends,
I'ld be gratefull for any comment on these cufflinks.
In the front, the with parts have a kind of iridisation like shells have and a decorative structure. I don't know of what this wite material is made of.........ceramic?
the backside shows a low quality product(Goering certainly would'nt wear them
),
but I like these cufflinks .
I hope, you can give me any information about them.

just saw this scan elsewhere on the site and remembered I had a good scan of it..

'Cufflinks' have some different backs: proper names are:
*Cuff buttons, totally ridged.
*Hinged cuff buttons, one side or both attached by a hinge.
*'Cuff links' which had both piece attached just by a link.
* Toggle, movable bar to rear.
Reverse............
Gaspare , I posted this cufflink before apart in the forum . For the good order I think is good to post it here with the other cufflinks.
so lets add them if you got them!
Please, post any Allied and / or Axis cufflinks you consider original to the period. If they're not yours please try and give some sort of credit..
From our favorite auction house! some Italians-

E.,Do you see any Soviet pieces? CCCP, Hammer & Sickle?
I always look while in East Europe but so far no luck finding any old ones..
Haven't seen any interesting 3rd reich cufflinks around lately I though I'd bring this old topic back up..
* Remember members,, we just don't have 2 pages of topics here on the ring forum,,there are really
32 back pages and you must switch over if you aren't finding something you know must be here while doing a 'Search'...
Needing a a better display case for my cufflinks I for now put them in a padded box. Next show I'll find something better/unique to put them in.
Gaspare; the Wolfsangel cufflinks...There exist a Dutch stormtroopers ( equivalent of the German SA) pin, that was identical, same black enamel and silvered or silver Wolfsangel.

Only set I have and have been seen by some before. No markings on them.
Thanks,

those are neat-first i have ever seen. thanks for showing them. paul
Mike/Spike,, yeah man, really nice! Come on guys,,any other cufflinks to post, please do even if they are not yours [just give proper credit]..
Thanks........
and some with the colours of the empire and a blue (why blue? - maybe someone here has an idea) swastika
Excellent Odal!!
2 classic patterns.. Not sure about the blue,,maybe for the KM[?]
Thanks G.!
Here some impressions from the whole "little" find i made
and
very simple ones
Hi Odal-
Whats in the grey with green colored interior maker marked box?
black and white enamel - 2 examples from 2 different pairs
Thats really a great find. The big leader so far for 2011!
When you get a chance please show the brass looking pair and the Party pin types.. The party in types got to be early,, they really frowned on things like that once the war started..
odal,
No wonder I can't find any of these, because you have them all!
Great find and congratulations!
@Dean:
The box is an old jewelers-box from the netherlands. Inside a real cheap made swastika/oakleaf ring.
In this thread are some better pics:

No problem - i sure make pics from the others and post them.
@Mikee:
Wish you good luck in hunting!!
gold plated
and a unready made pair - it seems to be from copper and brass
Odal, you surprise me once again.
Sometimes I find one single German cufflinck, one! a year.
My congratulations.
Benten
Thanks Benten!
I try my best!
yeah, cufflinks are harder to find than rings!
Those party pin types are very rare. Wonderfull lot you got there.
The unmade set remenmd me of a ring pattern. The gold plated ,,all really wonderfull pieces!
Very informative thread I have just stumbled upon. Here is my addition to it. I rarely like SS cufflinks due to the slew of fakes that predominate the market, but I am comfortable with these.
http://208.11.143.133/detail.asp?id=230&n=SS-Evening-Dress-Cufflinks
years ago a Belgium collector owned the die for these cufflinks. It was actually a working die for a button. I own a ring like this and a friend had a single cufflink like Craigs, and they both fit into the die
perfectly! I do have a photo of the die,,where it is I don't know but will try to find and post.
And, important the reverse of Craigs links, from a button like Assmann and the other manufactures that made both buttons and links, etc. ,, ,yeah, I like them too..
G:
Any idea who the original manufacturer was?
Jim
Sadly no Jim. Could have been any of the pre RZM and latter RZM [1934] button manufactures Or those making insignia, uniform fittings and even sub-contractors [M2]..
These came to me from a consignor for the upcoming auction, and I liked them very much. They aren't the best quality - certainly the lower end of the totem poll. Lets just say that Ribbentrop wouldn't have worn these!
found one of the die photos,,have more somewhere:
The pieces are entirely unmarked.
A little something different. A pattern Don used to call the SS Presentation Honor cufflinks. They were cause of much debate and trouble years ago. Nothing has ever been proved one way or the other. One thing for sure 100%,,J.v.Ribbentrop owned a pair. There were probably more and some do reside in private collections..
These photos are from the WAF e-stand. A month ago or so this one cufflink was offered for sale. Rather inexpensive. Only explained as:
Found in a old jar with other old cufflinks. There is only one.
The toggle is different than the ones out there being decorated on back. Markings are 835, the SS culture mark and nothing else, no date, no maker.
simliar to Craigs,,I shoed these before but new photos ,,From a button maker:
This is from the '[new name] 'Odal cufflink hoard'.
A large hoard was found of NOS cufflinks, hinged cuff buttons, also partial made pairs, documentation from manufacturer, along with stic pins made by the same:
Also a new pair I got.. They might just be home made cuff links.
I agree Gaspare.
Those look like modified buttons.
Jim
I like that photo of the die, Gaspare!
found something from my old files. Items for the cape and tuxedo!
have some old photos to clear off so adding here..
A couple examples of the super rare Army cufflinks [where is an authentic ring?!],,,these mounted on a period sample board!
these might not be so old......
,,,and a another different pair....
Some great new stuff!
The ones on the first new pic. Are this two salesmen examples?
The "Frisch Fromm Fröhlich Frei" ones could be very old too.
These colours (black/red/gold) are common since 1832.
Odal,,,salesmens sample board.. These are probably the hardest to find.. I've always heard there was a ring but haven't seen one in hand..
Here's another set from my files,,plain but matched sets are becomeing harder and harder to find!:
- more from my files..
Simple patriotic links, enamel and also again,,getting hard to find!
some Italian stuff is made very well,,some of it is pretty bad..
Photo from my files.. They appear to be low quality, possible zinc,,there was only one:
Again some real beauties!
I have never seen italian ones untill now.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Hate to be a pirate but,,,

A really nice boxed matching set:
From my files,,, Italian sample board!!
Member Andy 'MilitaryNut' sent me photos of these fine cufflinks from his personal collection,,,real beauties!!!
Wow!
Yes, real beauties!
And the salesman ones - i think more than rare!
Thanks for showing us!
Concerning the cufflinks that are
Party Pins..
On another forum these and the others from the hoard were called outright fakes, fantasy.
Reason is/was that the 'Party' would never let 'kitch' such as those be on the market.
There was even documentation stating no use of official party emblem to be used as jewelry blah blah blah
Well, from a period 3rd reich publication,,,Party Pin cufflinks! , so guys,,even though I'm guilty myself of saying it sometimes,,
'Never say never!!!
Yes, very interesting Publishing.
We can learn every day a Little more.
I would bet this is a early (pre 33)pic
yes big thanks to Odal for shot!
Whats really weird is see Communist pieces mixed in there!
Anyone with new cufflinks to post?,,Hard to find,,way harder to find than rings!
some real rare italian made from my collection, please note the silver stamp!!!
Best, Bernhard
A real rare pair of beauties!
Thanks for showing us!
B. , WOW, beauties! , you can see they are directly related to a few of the ring patterns..
clearing out some files,,
,here is a nice advert for a very nice pair of cufflinks!
Good for even 2nd World War wear!
I am also adding Kris L. wonderful find from the MAX!
Really nice tie clip and matching cuff buttons:
Kris L. sent these very interesting cufflinks for us to oogle! I'm waiting for some more info,,,material? markings?
these D.E. , Germany Awake NSDAP links are nice..
Kris let out this small tidbit about them:
"Dual tone, silver wash on front wreath with cut out swazi and rest gold color"
Gaspare -heres a close shot of the makers marks on the cuffs you found on the other forum -
Horst
thanks Horst!
heres a couple more shots of Kris's other links:
Again some more nice cufflinks here.
Thanks for showing.
Interessting are for me on the last pair the construction with rivets - i have never seen untill this ones.
I don't get to share much here but I can show this stickpin. It might be of interest. The swas. on this pin was silver plated with the rest gold.
--dj--Joe
Thanks!
Very interesting - looks exact like the plate of the last cufflinks.
,,
,,hey thanks Joe!!
,, yeah I agree with Odal,,an exact match!
Again nice ones!
I bet Pforzheim made
Fallschirmjager
Thanks Vern!! all due to the willingness of these members here to want to learn and most of all share!!
FJR,,,Those are very interesting...
Is it a push thru 'button' type [solid mount] or is it a 'toggle'?
Are there any markings anywhere?
The eagle device appears to be the same they used on the rings,,I will check my ring...
What is the black background material of the cartouche? , and the links themselves?, plated steel? zinc?
those Para links really are something!
anyway,,,
Just clearing out some space for the hard drive.. Maybe someone has this set to show us!, a nice pair with matching tie clip..
also,,a pair recently for sale on WAF..
Although nicely made [and old] I really don't think these are 3rd reich!
cool ones!
Hey G, I picked up the Deutschand Erwache cufflinks from Kris that are pictured in this thread. Amazing early workmanship!
Best,
Erich
Got yesterday evening this real nice made spanish ones. I think the ground material of the plates is brass or copper, gold plated.
Interesting for me are the two different colours of the used gold in the decor.
Enjoy:
VERY nice.. Yes, they like adding a little Rose gold to pieces,, These take after the rings of the same method. Good catch!
Thanks G.!
Maybe i should look for a fitting ring too?
clearing out some files. A few link photos for this topic:
A set of what look like white washed KM links..
and, a slightly different look at the set Kris originally bought..
The KM ones look like made from buttons
Good eyes there Odal!!
More than likely they are! Many were made from buttons. Evidence in the Assmann catalog [I think shown earlier here in this topic] and in others.. Examples like the RAD, Heer, Luft, these KM and SS cufflinks were made from buttons sometimes..
Hello members
Here is a unusual pair of NSDAP cuff links shows the Alcoso scale trademark has nice enamel with silver coating as shown
wondering if they were made by the Alcoso dagger company
Enjoy
Andy
Militarynut
hi members
good evening to all these are the first pair of nsdap cufflinks with this alcoso scales logo never seen another also please note the greek key pattern bottoms simular to the greek key pattern design that adorns adolf hitler silverware perhaps outher members maybe gaspare has seen another pair like these lets see and enjoy these one of a kind beautys thanks andy militarynut
These are really nice pair! Nothing wrong with them..
No reason why Alcoso wouldn't be making these early on [prob. pre war].
Most Nazi dagger firms probably started out making every day silverware[spoons, forks, knives, etc.] and other things.
They had many associates that would make a certain piece they didn't make or bought, lets say as example, leather from other firms for straps or had the other firms actually make the leather piece complete and send to them for use.
Pre war when items like these cufflinks were very popular Alcoso would cut the dies/make the tooling for these and maybe sent to a 'friend firm' [that specialized in] enamel and there you go a pair of links for sale to your friendly neighborhood Nazi.
*OR,,Alcoso simply made them complete...
There was a lot of co operation pre war with semi like firms..
Once the war started pieces like these were kind of frowned upon by the party and less and less were made and sold and firms like Alcoso went from making dress daggers to other things to support the war effort..
Vern, Andy, & 'other dagger guys' Do you guys know of other products these dagger firms made during wartime?,,maybe mess kits, buttons, armaments pieces?
Very nicee ones.
They look like silverd brass.
I have still seen some very similar/close ones, but not with this manufacturers mark.
hi odel/members
yes these nsdap cuff links are silvered on brass and i believe that alcoso firm made them early on then turned thier dies around for outher items like dagger parts etc. just like here in america at the time we had remington rand typeriters that firm made 45 cal pistols rock ola made juke boxes then made 30 cal carbines and there were more fims all over making what was asked of them for the war effert and now we are writing about what we found thier treasures that very few collectors have seen guess this old saying still stands we are the keepers of this historical history stay well meine friends andy militarynut
MilitaryNut,,,,here you go..
Another nice pair,,with same hallmark. Brass, probably had a real thin gold or silver wash.
IMO I would have to humbly disagree that the marks shown on both cuff links are that of Alexander Coppel for various reasons. The marks shown look much like the mark of Robert Dyckerhoff of Pforzheim. And yes I have seen this mark before and on cuff links. Thank you.
hi mikee
thanks for showing your same mark scales trade mark on your tr cufflinks. guess there is more then one pair i still think they are neat and scarce to find thank you very much for showing us here have a nice day andy militarynut
I got to apologize,, been living out of cardboard boxes now for a little over a year. Hopefully soon something will happen.
Relates because I am helpless without my
TARDYs silver hallmark book!
[packed somewhere].
And,,usually whatever Tardy does not have the silver forums do! [all my passwords gone] so,,,
*Great work Mikee!! I agree: Robert Dyckerhoff of Pforzheim makes much more sense.
Here's the reverse of a piece of jewelry they made. There's your mark Andy! Thanks again Mikee!
Thanks much, Far from knowledgeable, but a true fanatic when it comes to marks so I recognized that mark right away. Just remember that Robert Dyckerhoff isn't the only one that used the scales mark. I wish we had a thread for all the unknown marks that members have posted over the years. I would love to view them!
I would love to own these! Don't know 100% if period or not but I like them!!
going thru some old files and deleting..
Here's that weird pair I have...
and a Luft pair that stand a chance,,,
and a Luft pair that stand a chance,,,
I think that on left one are casting balls...
Hap,,,on my laptop they look like they have a chance... On a full size screen I see what could be a dot under eagles neck,,,,and,, now see dots [maybe] on right one [decorative edge]..Actually see a dot on both on the side designs,,but think they are part of the design..
IF someone really wanted them,,,and there was a good return privilege, would be worth to see them in hand..
Very few 'good' rings, and cufflinks out there. With these bad ******** photos all the time sometimes a in hand is the only way...
And,,I don't understand... These sellers are moving a lot of items and /or expensive items and they can't buy a decent camera and practice a bit for the adverts!
And,,I don't understand... These sellers are moving a lot of items and /or expensive items and they can't buy a decent camera and practice a bit for the adverts!
I bet there is reason why they "can't afford" good camera
Even modern cell phone camera can get decent macro picture...
Hap,u should have seen these links g and I saw at the max...oh man were they stunning...remember g? I think the guy was also selling 2 rings, one with runes...but the ring was iffy at best...these links had an original box and everything...there we were, g, me, dak 41 jus drooling,..going back I think we should have pulled our pennies together for those!! What do u think g?
I don't know Hap,,I'd put my 5 years old Nikon up against any new cell phone!
Even better though than those 2,,,are the USB digital photographic microscopes! They plug into USB ports and
boom your taking shots
inside of hallmarks
,now days you can get a decent one for under $20 !!!
Byz. , yeah a few good pieces at the MAX. IF I remember right the links were good, but the box was French.. Possible?, maybe!
some shots of a cufflink /tie clip set...
They look fine.
Probably celluloid and crimped in they way they look..
Those are really very nice....I can imagine it's the set for a party bigwig for special occasions, like a gauleiter or something? Do you think it's early, like late 20s early 30s ? (It looks a little Art Deco on the sides of the links)...?
my opinion,,yes,,late 20s, early 30s..
Oh! Wow!
Yes, real nice looking set.
I think too celluloid.
found on a zip drive what appear to be a nice pair of cufflinks! So delete off my zip,,and land them here!
Anyone else with a new pair,,or you can even post a tie bar/clip on this topic,,please do...
What does drv stand for? I just saw a small rectangular pennant at this show today that had the same insignia, a wooden pole (small) and something like "kontrolle" on it?
Never mind I just answered my own question... Cyclist association!
I used to own a pair of these. They were very common years ago.. Now probably rare to find..
Cheap but they did the trick.
Spanish made,,they showed the Spanish, Italian and German [Luftwaffe] emblems..
Here are the reverse. Very simple.. How common were these? Well Manions had them for a while starting bid $60. and they didn't usually go much higher! Wish I had them now!
I have seen this pattern still sometimes in auctions or on spanish Militaria sites.
Nice looking for me.
Photo credits the WAF Political forum:
We've seen this pattern here before. But these are some nice shots so adding them to the topic..
These are 'toggle' type. ,, The reverse:
Oh yes, very nice looking cufflinks.
Thanks for showing.
,,and as per usual for some of these they are made from actual buttons and or button and device manufacturing firm.
Here they are [at bottom of card] on a salesmen's sample board:
Yes, this is good stuff. :-)
...thanks Gaspare.
Here is my Latvian cufflinks from vet family
Looks like these had (glass? I'm guessing) eyes- I see one stone still left in there
Looks like these had (glass? I'm guessing) eyes- I see one stone still left in there
Yeah, only one stone has left, others are gone
a single one i got these days
I'm hoping G remembers to post the single he found at max for a great deal! That's a nice piece odal!
I'm hoping G remembers to post the single he found at max for a great deal! That's a nice piece odal!
Thanks Byz!
yeah I picked up a single Luft. cufflink. I'll fire up the camera and get a shot of it..
For now,,just saw on eBay,, a cased, blue glass and gold Mussolini pair!
perfect shape,,probably because they are one ugly pair of links!
reverse,,
BYZ,, I posted that single Luft on the MAX topic then it got deleted from my 'mind of its own laptop'
Anyway,,, here is a nice SS pair from my files...
At the MAX there was a
mint pair like this. I really wanted them,,think the guy was asking $850!,
,
IF I was a cufflink only guy and could have gotten him down a bit maybe,,they were mint though!
Oh man that laptops gotta go! It's smartphone time for u buddy. Just in time for xmas! U know the guy I bought those 2 American rings off of on Saturday on the way out had a very nice pair of links- ss! U had already left I think... anyway I pulled up andys website and showed the guy- told him IF these were good, go see the 'nut on the back wall behind u! I think he did, never followed up w Andy about it, maybe those were the links!
had a look on an auction site and saw a bunch of Italian cufflinks.
They seem authentic:
reverse:
another set,,
reverse:
Wow G.!
If i remember right i have seen somewhere a perfect matching ring.
hey, come on get the ring on the Italian topic!!
Cleaning the hard drive again:
Another pair of Heer cufflinks..
I'd like to someday get a pair like this.. I hope there is a authentic ring something like this but so far everything has been fake.
The backs are very important. I'd say many cufflinks are from
button manufacturers. Plain to see in this photo and many you'll see will have this back,,I'd say a good 50/50..
I have a few sets of cufflinks. I'm moving them and will bring to the MAX. But I had a really nice boxed set that a friend bought.. Cleaning them off the hard drive so here they are..
Aaahhhh!!
on the plain side. But the quality was there. A real early set,,they were in decent condition..
We're seeing even less cufflinks than authentic rings. The good stuff is getting harder and harder to get!
Wow!
Real fine looking ones!
Congrats G.!
Brass?
I have an exact pair like this. Not sure if already posted [too lazy].
These are nice images though. On auction:
,,more.. Nice ,,all have the date on back toggle..
Nice pair of Luft. 'officers'. Hallmarked to Berndorf AG .. Looking good..
These are being advertised as WW2 German.. I can can not confirm this..
But they are in an old box.. They seem to be made simply but well. Nice and clean,,no hallmarks..
So I guess they are supposed to be for signals. Nice,,to bad they weren't hallmarked or more identifiable,,I think they'd have a buy then
Here we have a standard pair of Luft. cufflinks. These also are getting very hard to find.. At the big shows maybe you will 1 or 2 pairs,,usually none,,well authentic anyway
These have a flat silver wash to them which came off pretty fast.. These are in nice condition..
Remember when looking at them,,they should be multi piece construction. These, the Heer, KM,SS cufflinks were made by the same firms that made buttons and all more or less look like these do..........
For sure they are Lore thanks for posting... have a shot of the back by any chance?
hi lore
members the above ss f m cufflinks from lore in my opinion are usually not used for cuff links they were used mostly for button holes in the uniform to show any one that they were contribited to the ss fund and i believe they were made by the only firm zoll some were marked zoll and some were not i have a pair of dutch ss b l safety pin backs both lores and mine are very scarce to find in todays market anything belgium/dutch/norweign ss items are very scarce good luck finding them i will be putting mine up on my site militarynut.com soon thanks again guys god bless all andy militarynut
Here are the backs
Those really are cool Lore, rare too.. I do believe Andy called it perfect, they really look like buttonhole sS FM supporter member pins instead of stickpins for the lapel, right in the button slot. I would guess it slides in pointy side first -super nice man, a pair no less!! Congrats that two rare birds in one nest!
about 20 years ago I had the same exact ones.. Everyone told me the same thing,,they are for the lapel...
Now they should be exactly as the standard stick pin type.. Are they?
- on the back should also be the same exact as the pin type. Are they the same hallmarkings?
Maybe even do a enamel check... The pins from the Riker cases are best! Get one RED hot and touch the black,,,IF authentic nothing should happen..
They are very nice looking,,whether stick pins or for lapel wear...
some Luft CLs .. had a silver wash at one time. Proper construction.. On Warbooty.. Nice ones!
My only cufflinks are these two from Norway's Nasjonal Samling (the equivalent to the German Nazi Party).
John
hi john
nice looking pair of norweign cuff links first time i ever seen a pair guess they are rare to find in the market place thanks for showing us guys here god bless andy militarynut
Very nice enameld . I think the clover leafs on the backside should bring the wearer in the car good luck

This was posted in a research area of another forum.. I'm posting it here in this CL topic because it shows a large amount of button related pieces . Most 3rd eich CLs were from Button related manufacturers..
This is from the famous 'Firma F.W. Assmann & Sohne. So click on it or copy and paste and check out their catalog.
http://www.uniform-buttons.com/clanky-firma-f.-w.-assmann-sohne.htmlThere is a lot of very interesting pieces they made for all branches of service of the 3rd reich.... OK, hope you enjoy it....,G.
Interesting catalog- lots of info!
Heres a really nice quality pair of cufflinks on auction.. Great detail etc.. KM items are always hard to find/get.. Same with the rings, KM is hard. When you do find one its could always be pre-war piece etc. You'll see more of the KM cufflinks then the rings!
Anyway,,here they are:
Estonian cufflinks! , I haven't seen these before... Hallmarks proper,,style,, all looks ok..
don't think I put this on before..
- Had this a few years. Minty, good quality,,,only problem is,,,,I only have the one! One!, don't think I'll ever find its matching mate especially in this condition. So here it is:
- I'm working on a pair of those KM cufflinks,,Assmans [above]. Probably take me 2 months, but patience usually works out. -
* Meanwhile,,,saw these being offered on a German auction.. Nice, old, probably pre WW2..
you guys see any interesting pairs please add on here!
Here are pics of my Norwegian cufflinks:
Arbeitjeneste Stab Skole (RAD equivalent leader school)
Nasjonal Samling
IRHG
John
Wow, missed this post..
The leader set is outstanding! All 3 wonderful rare period pieces.. Cufflinks have become sadly very hard to find. And, like our rings have become expensive..
Cufflinks like these,,,you do what you have to do to acquire them!! Thanks for showing John..
here's a set I saw recently on a auction.. Early patriotic pieces. They tried many different methods prewar..
These seem to be painted [on reverse] glass!. Crimped together and with the standard back.. A interesting set for sure:
found old photos.. The one photo a bit of distortion towards front..
there was a ring made looking exactly as these CL do,,,had same front ,plain thin band....Sometimes they did some trickery and one die was used..
: Patriotic cufflinks..
The back says they are made in "Brux" which I think might be Brussels.
Thanks Dave... Not sure what they speak there,,,French or French dialect?
Gaspare,
Brussels they speak mostly French in my experience With a sizable minority speaking Dutch. The subject of two languages is contentious, much as French/English in Canada.
The city is on the dividing line between the two languages spoken in Belgium. The French spoken there is the same as in Paris, with a few local expressions thrown in
Asmith thank you for the thumb.
Benten,,,,,on the links.. Most countries have there own type of setting design. The way the toggle is, or solder or pinned etc.
They are a nice high quality pair.. Best is to look at other known cufflinks from Spain past and present to see if construction and design is similar...
Yes Gaspare, the cufflink is Art-Déco with Spanish style. We will keep looking for comparison .
When I'm surfing around the net I sometimes come across a piece for the forum.. So clean out time so I'll post them here and hopefully they will help someone..
For those who just collect cufflinks it's been really hard. Few around,,you really got to hit it hard to find something.. Luckily the copies usually aren't very good ..
Here's a set I'm pretty sure is authentic.. Italian made, of everyone's favorite Italian to dislike!
A nice set to have in a collection,,,enjoy!
IF you come across a pair you think are authentic put them up. Or if your not sure or have any questions about them,,put them up!!
Thanks..............
