I'm not doubting the authenticity of these blades, I know their source. What I need is a ballpark valuation so my friend and I can come to a price for me to pay. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The bad part of the Red Cross is the cast handle is cracking in the usual places and the blade has been sharpened.

No one has an opinion? Or is it not kosher to discuss values?

OK to ask values here.

Both pieces are less than 100% so maybe members are unsure of values. Also, these daggers/knives do not pop up too often so current $ are maybe not known.

I can understand that but there are lots of them on dealer's websites. I'm just trying to get a ballpark figure that would be appropriate for to friends who do a lot of trading back and forth.
Its not a retail situation.

Jim,, I know that I'm nuts... but some of these dagger guys don't know it about themselves... Anyone that collect this stuff is nuts...
We spend small fortunes,,,we tell our wives/family ,,'don't worry, when I sell this stuff we can travel, buy cars etc.'... It never happens, and you drop dead and the wife gets pennies on the dollar...Yes we're all nuts.

I don't like answering values on my forum but when asked I do my best to answer what I see them go for in my area,, and/or what they been going for at the big shows....

Don't see why a dagger guy hasn't gave you an answer on what an approximate value is.. The weekends are slow. Maybe now with the week starting you'll get some action....,G.

Jim
Red Cross Daggers can be found as low as $500, the Rad brings more, around $750 for a nice example.
Condition, condition, condition.
Friends that trade things regularly should be able to get together on prices.
Good luck

Thanks, I agree. We just needed a reasonable starting point.

If you want an actual value, I will pay $1,200 for the two pieces. That is a serious offer so a friends price should be about $1,000. In my opionion

Thanks, that helps.
RAD em in decent condition relatively scare maker when compared to others IMO $750 to $1000 fair market retail a well known dealer would ask more ($1200) Red cross EM is in decent condition fair market $800 to $1000 again well known dealer(s) may price at $1200 at shows MAX and SOS or smaller you would be able to get cheaper or possibly a deal privately..? well........who knows?? but the prices I quoted are reflective of an average of internet dealer prices in North America European dealers often price higher cheers and best, Ryan
