Hi!
What is your opinion?
Some say that is a reproduction.
Thank you!

Thank you!
Another board told me it was a reproduction.
I don't know what to think now.
From other members as well I would wait for more comments.
Best wishes!

they make a stunning reproduction I saw years ago,,,BUT,,it had a wood handle.. They were coming out of East Europe somewhere..

I collected fighting knives in the 70s and always remember the Puma had that kind of weird Bakelite handle and only that type of handle.. make sure yours is and maybe lets see more of the reverse of the scabbard and blade makers mark,, AND,, a good side view of the blade. I also remember they had that weird tiny dip at end of blade.....

But so far agree with seany that it looks pretty good from those photos.. Sean, did they all have the dip on blade?

@alexg: Hello, your knife has the bakelite grips which are typical for this PUMA knife. Today to my best knowledge bakelite in this certain structure is not produced any more so for me it is next to impossible to fake it this way and to produce a fake with such grips. Alone from this circumstance your knife is original, period.
My PUMA has a known, legit blade -bowie knife- variant.
What I do understand in the other thread you do mention is, that it was said that the crossguard is slightly altered (filed). This knife does come with at least two kinds of crossguard, a smaller iron(?) one and a broader alu/pot metal one. Yours and mine do have the broader (later?) variant. In my pics you see the bulbous arched form of the crossguard which indeed seems to be slightly filed flat concening your knife.
Nevertheless your knife remains beeing original (the postwar repainted scabbar has been already mentioned in a contribution).
Regards,
