Appears genuine except for new leather on handle and scabbard.
I have a WKC customs dagger in stock, this is a carbon copy except for the leather.
This has become a hard dagger to find in the last year or so!
Best Wishes,
Bob
hello
i have not a good feeling on this dagger , i have a doubt on the leather on the griff, the eagle of the guard is an heer eagle not a custom, the scabbard is suspect!
i d ont pay for this dagger
best regards
patrick
Hi RFI,
I can find in your Stock only Customs dagger from a Eickhorn.
Why you think that is Carbon copy?
Hi TRANCHANT,
Eagle looks like a Alcoso heerr dagger.
That isn't pleasant to you in the scabbard?
Anybody have a link to photos with a WKC Customs dagger?
Thanks.
Hi!
The closer I look at this I do have some questions, I would like to see it in hand. Can you post better pics of the cross guard?
Thanks!
Bob
The leather on the posted piece has clearly been redone & poorly I might add. The scabbard drag is curious to me & it seems the acanthus leaves on the ferrule are worn down so to be lacking a lot of detail. Also, it seems the hanger ring holes are bored out moreso than usual. I suspect this might have been done to eliminate the noncentered appearance seen on some fakes? These points aside, I find it tough to give a definite answer on this one. Maybe better pics would help.
Here's the crossguard of a WKC Landzoll from Empire Auctions some months back.
WKC Landzoll from Witty's site in the past.
Clearly, the wings on the crossguard eagle are much longer on these last two examples posted by Billy. I think that says enough!

Just regarding the seller of the current Landzoll dagger ("Porschezeit") & not the dagger, I would invite interested bidders to check the seller's feedbacks over time. This guy has sold a ton of fake Imperial & Weimar naval daggers as well as a considerable number of DRK daggers. Just check the items that are identified in his feedbacks, there's a real lot of them. I also remember seeing this guy's stuff as it was being sold. ALl modern production stuff IMHO. That said, I can't see him actually selling an authentic dagger in with all his crap.
Interestingly enough it seems that "Porschezeit" is using pictures from the earlier Landzoll auction, that one being listed by "Animalundertaker", a guy who tried to sell me a poor imitation Wasserzoll dagger last year. Probably one in the same guy.
